Ryan Davis featured in "Young Sheldon", Episode 6. Season 5. "Money Laundering" and "A Cascade of Hormones." Davis passed away while the series was being made. Davis was a part of the sound department that was involved in numerous notable television and film projects, was a highly respected individual. He was the re-recording mixter for the show "Young Sheldon" for fifty episodes. Davis seamlessly blended each audio component together. Davis was responsible for re-tooling the sound components of every episode, as well as Adult Sheldon's narration. This adds a layer nostalgic warmth to the series. On the Season 4 premiere episode "Young Sheldon," Davis revealed Sheldon's and Amy's son's names. Davis could contribute his skills in this prequel episode. In the seasons 2-5 of "Young Sheldon," Davis intricately layered throwback comedy, music, urban background noises, and exciting football games that made the series more grounded in reality. The spin-off is missing a comedy track. This gives Davis the ability to play with the other elements of the show. When Davis died there was initial doubt about his identity and his place in the show.
